Update! I've scrounged a power board from my Playstation (ah the sacrifices I'm making...) and powered up the main webcam again, so now it is all go! All the cameras should be back on like and working.

Great news!! I've finally got off my butt and fixed the server, the cameras, and the database that caused the whole site to stop updating for a small period of only three months. Whoops, maybe I should have paid attention to your emails... Anyway 90% of the cameras are up and working again, except for my own one (yes it is ironic) which will be going as soon as I pop down to the store and buy a double plug. Even with all this technology something as simple as running out of power still gets in the way.

I'd like to thank all of you for hanging in there while the site was not working so well! Feel free to make a small donation to help fund that double plug (and the new webserver that I had to buy).

Welcome to Wellington Views - your webcam archive of Wellington, New Zealand's capital city.

This site gathers webcam images from around the Wellington and displays them all here in one helpful location. In addition to that we also archives of the camera images every 15 minutes, so if you want to know what the weather was like on the 22nd May 2007 at Petone, we can show you.

To view a webcam just select one of the webcam categories from the tabs above, or select Map of the Cameras from the menu on the left (at the bottom of the side bar).
